The mission of the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center is to provide an opportunity of change to these youth who pose a threat to themselves or to those around them. The facility will provide the leadership necessary to allow change for the youth, their family, and the community. This change will be afforded to youth by creating an alternative pathway through equal access to services that are least intrusive, culturally sensitive, and consistent with the highest professional standards. The residents housed at the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center shall be controlled, supported, and protected with these standards in mind.
